Remember
Prepare, Don't Panic
It’s time to prepare yourself and your family for potential self-isolation, but panicking does more harm than good. Avoid going to crowded places if possible. If you are vulnerable, stock up on supplies (or ask someone to make a grocery run for you). If you are sick, self isolate to the best of your ability. Above all, listen to your local public health professionals.
If You Need Help, Ask
If you are a part of a vulnerable population or are in regular contact with vulnerable individuals, ask for help. This website will be updated with a list of people and organizations willing to help shortly.
If You Can Help, Offer
If you are reasonably confident you haven’t been exposed, offer to pick up groceries, medicine, or other necessities for a neighbor, or offer to provide child care for a parent that can’t afford to take time off work. If you have the means, consider donating to an organization helping people in need.
